I would tend to agree with phatbenny. I play with the proximity part turned off but with the direction indicator on. This way i can tell which way the shots are coming from, the same as you can tell with your ears in reality. But on a whole either way is fine for me.

I've got intel onboard graphics and sound, both of which I updated drivers on before I installed dx9. Maybe thats why I don't have any probs.

What sort of probs are people having with dx9 and 98se?? I am running 98se with dx9 at home and 98 with dx9 at work and haven't noticed any problems. Am I just lucky?

Well it had me stumped...I asked me old man who was a WO2 in the ADF, he thought I was crazy or something. I honestly thought some-one had stuffed up.

I agree with what you say about the snipers militiman, I was using 3.5x cause i think thats what the sa80 is at. Instead of limiting accuracy i tend to up the recoil. That way single shot is still fairly accurate but it's usless to "spray and pray."

This may be stupid, but why are the flag patches on the GR shoulders backwards? I was watching "Blackhawk down" and noticed they were the same.

No probs with the webbing, the steyr is from arkanis, I just added the cammo. I will probably do a desert one aswell.

Thanx guys, I cut it back to 3.5x otherwise you can hit targets anywhere on the map. I think I read that the ozzy version has a weaver type mount or something for mounting different optics.

Can't you turn the whole thing off with one of the "F" keys?

Does any-one know what the actual zoom is on the steyr. I've got it at 5x but I think it's a bit high.

avey 2904, I have blown up the desert guy, a bit fuzzy but you can make it out. I was hoping for an auscam type design but was a bit unsure if thats the way they came out. Might just have to call it "dekscam" or something. Good idea on the boots too. Again if there is no image click the link on the first post. Cheers......

I have d/loaded ADF skins v2 from AUS_VIPER and am happily using them for GR and IT. My problem is that I don't have any cammo for DS. I would d/load ADF v3, but my current dial up connection won't allow me to pull a file that size of the net. So, I was wondering if any one knew of a smaller file around, or if they had just the aussie desert skins available. Any help would be great.

Though I would say thanx to all the people who have either asked or answered questions on this forum. Due to these people I, being a complete newbie to modding, have been able to change ballistics for weapons etc.. and have started to try and do a few rets for myself. SO...THANX..
