Does anybody know why Shell Shock keeps crashing to Desktop whenever I try to play it? I get as far the briefing and then it crashes when I try to begin Team Selection. Any help would be awesome, I really want to play this mod and its frustrating the h*ll out of me. JW

I just finished the English version, got real close anyway. Awesome map, fun mission, gets a little jumpy towards the end though. Need a patch or something to clean up this otherwise killer mod. Just out curiousity, what other mods if any are others using with this mission? (Skins, weapons ,etc ,etc) JW

Welcome home dude Ive been back for about a month now. Thank God with no new holes. Who were you with??? Me, 3rd ID, HHC 3/7 Inf. Medical Discharge, back is toast, thanks to an idiot in Support Platoon who couldnt drive. Sad to say but it was a POL clown who took me out of the game. JW

I got it straight now, Thanks all. I just played my first online game, its good to be back in the saddle. But, Damn am I rusty!! Got whacked a dozen times and only got a few kills! Oh well, Ubung macht den Meister, or so the Germans say... John

One more thing, do I install install it anywhere specifically or just into my Ghost Recon file in general????

Just thought I would add my 2 cents as I just got out of the Army less than a month ago. Its true that the early probs with the M-16 family have been ironed out long ago. And the M-4 is a REAL butt kicker, trust me. But the AK is no slouch either. However the bottom line is this, regardless of which weapon you carry (in the real world at least) " If you do your job, the bullet will do its job". In other words, BRM, BRM, BRM....... Roger that, Ill check and see if Im up to 1.4 or not. Yeah I have Desert Seige, I used to be able to play online no prob but that was over a year ago. Ill check back and let you know If Im not up to speed in a little bit, in the meantime, thanks for the help and the fast as s**t response John

Hey all, Ive been away from the whole GR world for awhile. Now that Im back stateside I wanted to play online. When I tried to join a game at the All Seeing Eye I got a message saying that I had the wrong software version???? Whats up with that?? Can somebody fill me in?? Do I need to update my version of GR?? I ve been gone since shortly after Island Thunder came out so Im a little behind the power curve. Thanks John aka C46th

Thanks That did the trick. Not to be a pain in the butt, but, could you explain to me what exactly I did and why and had to do it in order to get the sound to work properly? I want to learn more about my computer and how it works. Again, Thanks alot John

Hello I recently re-installed GR on my computer and now Im having a weird sound related problem. When I play a mission I get a very noticable echo or reverb effect with many of the sounds, its really very bad and makes game play all but impossible. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this and what I might do to fix it. BTW, I have tried changing the sound settings in the options section but have had no luck so far. I have not played GR in a while and Im hot to get some trigger time so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, Ive run GR, Desert Siege and Island Thunder on this system in the past and never had ANY problems with it. I dont know if this would have any bearing on the situation but I recently installed Raven Sheild, although it works just fine. Thanks in advance John
