Haven't really chimed in in a while on the site, but I'm back because I think this is important to know.
I was wondering about the functionality of the DLC. Everybody is whining about the price, when they get it, blah blah. Please Don't ruin this thread with that. What people should be thinking about it whats going to happen when people with the DLC and people without the DLC get together in a room.
Will people without the DLC be able to get into rooms hosted by people that have it?
Can players use the new guns in rooms hosted by players that don't?
I guess we'll know these things soon enough as its available but it would be nice to hear an official comment on this sometime.....

If the host has the update, you need the update to join. .
If the host doesnt have the update, you cannot use the update!!
Simple really, and the DLC is out now anyhow. . so you will see what i mean soon enough

Just booted in safe mode and its perfect!
Is also perfect if i dont install nvidia drivers!
Is their anyway around installing nvidia drivers?
Cos i cant play games unless the nvidia ones are installed, but the nvidia ones screw my card up !!

Im getting red dots all over my screen, when i open a window etc they apear around the edge!
It happens all the time, not just while gaming!
The 6800GS i have is only running at 41.
It seems to have only happened since i installed tomb raider, but now i have formatted and resinstalled windows and its doing it again!
Its fine until i install the nvidia drivers (Off disc or updated ones from website)
Anybody know how to stop this?

Bo has stated that they will be adding to the multiplayer and mod side of things after release. This of course is contingent on the success of the game. For that reason, I would suggest purchasing the game on release day to help make it a success so we can get all the extra stuff we want from GRIN.
