i got to feeling a little nostalgic today after playing Hawx ( btw looking for players on pc ) with a fellow named ExarW. when i asked this person whether they were on of the old XRW i recieved no answer but it got me wondering where everyone was and if they were still gaming. it's hard to keep track of folks since XRW Magoo's death and alot of us have lost touch. so if there are any old XRW members out there post to this and say hi! maybe i can set up a yahoo group or something so folks can stay in touch! Thanks wombat50 but I fixed it. If you install the Steam version of Ghost Recon ANYWHERE besides C:\Program FIles\Steam (or it could just needs to be on C:\ drive), the game will CRASH whenever you click on Training or Start a new campaign. Now I am happy camper! Since it's on my Tiny SSD, Load times are non-existent. I click start new campaign, 1 ms, I am in the game.. YAY!!! BTW, I didn't buy the expansions because I read that ALLOT of people had trouble with the game running. Note: If you don't have steam installed or not logged into steam. You cannot launch the game!

Hey guys, so its been about 6 years since the last post regarding XRW (Xtreme Recon Warriors). I'd like to keep this topic alive in case any other XRW's want to stop by and say anything. And yes Rocky, I believe you did do a feature on us maybe having something to do with XRW_Drunkbob and modding. Its hard to believe its been 15 years since XRW started in the original Ghost Recon. We ended up with over 100 members at our prime and Ghost Recon was the catalyst that enabled such friendships to thrive for this long in the gaming world. A lot of us still keep in contact and game together including XRW_Chubby6, XRW_Goldy, XRW_Kalt, XRW_Fergie, XRW_Crazy, XRW_Morlander, XRW_AlleyViper, and XRW_Piggy. General XRW_Magoo was our clan leader and passed away just over 7 years ago. He was my brother and I think about him often. Hey Chuck, I was wondering the same thing. I will have to check in here more often to see if anyone else is still lurking around. The only other member I am still in touch with occasionally is XRW Pantyraider, I have him on my Xbox live friends list.
