Introduction

Tigers is the brainchild of a relatively new modder to the Ghost Recon scene, yet ogre_h has compiled an extremely diverse and unique set of skins for the discerning mod user. The camouflage patterns utilized are highly exotic yet still extremely functional in the three predominant environs of the game. The name is derived from the favorite and most often used pattern of the author, namely tigerstripe, thus many variations of this are prevalent within the mod.

Content

This mod predominantly adds new uniforms for the regular Ghosts and specialist characters over all environments. SnowFella graciously created several new character models for ogre to graft new skins upon. Additionally some of Wildcat's camo tilesets were used to aid in creation of this modification. There are also new menu screens to incite a more immersive aspect within the player. One nice factor is that this mod will most likely work with your favorite weapons mod which is a huge plus in my book.

Skins

As stated above the mod features heavily on various tiger stripe patterns in use by military units throughout the world. These include the U.S., Russia, South East Asia and numerous other regions as well. Many of these unique uniform templates I am unfamiliar with. It's quite a refreshing and innovative mod in this aspect, as the user is not confronted with the now rather atypical and mundane uniforms that shipped with the game. Another nice feature is the random nature of the way the actors and uniforms show up each time a single player map is loaded. My personal favorite character is based on one of SnowFella's models. This particular mock-up is a sniper with a ghillie suit done in MarPat camouflage. It's really too good to describe, you'll just have to see for yourself.

Bugs

None that I have seen to date. Kudos to ogre for taking the time and making sure everything works as it should without bringing ones game tumultuously crashing back to desktop.

Conclusion

If you're looking for new weapons to slay your virtual opponents then this mod isn't for you. However if you think the Ghosts could use some fashionable new threads then look no further, Tigers 2.5 is whatcha need.
