firefly2442
Whenever I startup my computer, "dumprep 0 -k" runs and my computer restarts. When I go into Safe Mode, everything is fine and I can uncheck it in "msconfig". I've turned off memory dumps but it still shows up every time. Any ideas? I've run all the spyware and virus software I have.....
Dannik
Used in connection with memory dumps - you can disable these by - right clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on the Settings button in 'Startup and Recovery'. In the bottom pane - under 'Write debugging information' - click on the down arrow and then select 'None' - OK your way out That's about all I can find. Perhaps you turned of memory dumps, but not the debugger?
firefly2442
Yeah I saw that too. I ran chkdsk and now I think it's working. It doesn't startup anymore at least... strange. No error messages though... I'll keep an eye on it. Edited February 11, 2005 by firefly2442
