P4 3.6 8800 GT 512 2 GB memory. There are spots where explosions may cause some lag. The more you have going on the worse it will be. Do you have the most recent version? 9-15-2008 turn textures down to medium I had the same thing when I played it set to high (with a 9800gx2 1GB card...), although I only got this problem when playing with the Brettzies mod.
