orcberg Posted January 27, 2005 Share Posted January 27, 2005 On my old machine, I could run Igor fine. It was an AMD Athlon 650MHz Win2k machine with 640 MB of PC133 RAM. Nothing phenomenal, but Igor worked (slowly at times ). On my new machine, which is an AMD Athlon 1.7GHz with 512 MB PC2700 RAM running WinXP SP2, Igor won't run right. It'll start loading (and show the splash screen), and after working for a little bit it will display a dialog box that says "Failed to create empty document". Once I hit OK, Igor bails. wwoody23 Posted January 28, 2005 Share Posted January 28, 2005 (edited) Have you tried uninstalling GR.. then defrag... then reinstalling? This has helped me in the past.
