It seems like the gun has a mind of its own, why didn't they just give you the option to take the silencer off, like most other games to make it easier

no, it doesn't have anything to do with the cables. The game still makes all sound effects, but the M4 Socom is not always silenced. Why is it not ALWAYS silenced? and what causes it to swtich back and forth.....

When I am firing it will sometimes it will not make a sound(unless you hit an object like a tree or rock) and sometimes it won't be silenced..... what causes the switch from silenced to unsilenced?

I just bought the expansion Island Thunder(Xbox) and the m4 socom doesn't seem to be silenced all the time, why does it switch?
