Wow thanks for the speedy replys. I dont have any problem with dogs hehe, but when I am out in the forest and hear I dog barking in my ear like it is real real close and there is no dog around, it just a sound that does not need to be there. Now if I was in a different enviroment it would be more believable. "open each mission file (.mis), and remove the dog bark sound from the Sound Emitters list. An experienced scripter would have no problem doing this." I may have to look into this OR MAYBE I could take the 1 Dog barking file and replace it with another sound, would this be possible instead of editing every mission? "Mission HX was a totally random mission generator", great I will give that a try. Stock Firefight missions have no randomness correct? Okay I am fairly new to Ghost Recon and installing and playing all the new mods, but I did purchase the 6 cd set awhile back. So these big mods like Texas Militia and Heroes unleashed will actually carry over there changes when playing standard maps on firefight mode? Interesting. Thanks for all the info!

Hi was curious is there a way to remove the random dog barking sound in some standard maps when playing firefight mission? Is this a random sound in all standard maps or just certain ones, would love to get rid of it. Also noticed there may be a mod that places the enemy in different random locations, when playing firefights whats the best one and was it ever perfected? Last question was there a mod that changed the ai voices of your teammates are removed allot of there speech? Thanks for any info! Lonny

Never mind my list! Okay either there is a organized mod god out there or there is not. Time will tell, until then I will try and make my own when ever I get a chance to a DSL machine. Thanks

Hmmm okay I understand the mods are free and thats great, but you could look at it a different way, what I am really paying for is somebodys time and knowledge in knowing what missions or campigns have been good or great, also allot of these good missions require many mods to work, that being the case a person would have a mod folder with all the stand alone mods in there to make all the missions and campaigns work. (For someone to send me a 100 great missions and no mods that are required would do me no good) Actually there is allot of time involved in reading what is good and great and then trying to find the mods to make it work, allot of links are now gone forever. I was hoping there would be several pepole that have been playing GR and keeping up with it for awhile and would have had a exhaustive current collection organized on there harddrive and could then burn them on a DVD. Many pepole are not organized and do not know how to be so I would be paying again for someones perfection and his time for taking the effort to put a somewhat complete DVD collection of what the user considered to be good and great missions and campaigns and required mods to run them, I am not interested in the gigabytes of mods that improve looks or add objects unless its required to play a good or great mission. I am by no means up on Ghost Recon but I do find it enjoyable, I do once in awhile get a chance when I go out of town to do some downloading, take last week for instance I spent 20 hours or so sifting thru and downloading Missions and Campaigns and trying to find the mods to make them work for Operation Flashpoint. Come to think of it maybe OFP has been more complicated to try for to get what I think is a complete collection. Anyhow I was hoping someone could do this, that has already done the work and has it organized ready to burn, I would gladly pay for someones organized collection of course I would want it to be where the user felt it was pretty complete and current, sorry if I offended anybody. I am just looking for someone that has a current collection of all good and great missions with required mods and is able to burn them on DVDs heck good be 1 to 3 DVDS. I would pay $50 + or - for the job, looking for somene that has this for Ghost Recon and Operation Flashpoint. Surely there must be some organized guy out there that has this available? Thanks

Howdy I live out in the sticks no DSL but would love to have all the good extra missions and campaigns that where made for Ghost Recon, Desert Siege, and Island Thunder along with all the required mods to make them work in a organized fashion burnt on DVDs preferrable, name you price. If you know a better forum for Ghost Recon that someone might be able to help me let me know. Have paypal and have been around the simhq forum for years thanks!
