  1. All the skins I've done in the past were for the Deadly Dozen/Line of Sight games. In many cases I would find good photos online of the weapons I wanted to work with, size them, and then paste in sectons of the actual photos to make the skins. The final product had that "real" feel to them. I could give people horn or ivory grips on .45s or custom stocks on rifles, etc. So far I've found all the photos I need for GRAW except for the MR-C. Is this one for real, and, if so, does anyone know of a link where I can find the photos to work from? Thanks
  2. For some reason I can't capture a screen. I've changed the key several times, but no luck. Any ideas? I assume the pics are captured in the Screen Saver folder of My Pictures.
  3. Tillyboy, THANKS! I'm retired now and living in Arizona, but when I was working I was the VP with responsibility for our corporation's television studio, art department, photography, and computer graphics. A number of years ago we started doing presentations for training purposes using computer graphics operation and wanted to add motion. I started looking at the basic PC games that were out at the time to bring myself us to speed and got hooked. I'm also a cartoonist and had been using Photoshop for my artwork when I found out I could also develop skins for the Deadly Dozen, Deadly Dozen2, and Line of Sight games...and did for several years for guys on the forum and in clans. Now I wanted to try it with GRAW. Again, thanks, you made my day. Wolff
  4. I must be really feeling my age (over 60 and creating skins has been a hobby for several years now). I spent over 2 years creating skins for uniforms and weapons for DD, DD2, and Line of Sight. I would really like to start working on skins for GR2, but for some reason I can't seem to find the basic info I need to start. If anyone can give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated. First, I can't find the uniform or weapons files to work on. In the past it was easy, just look for the Models folder and the DDS files and work on them in Photoshop 7. 1. What folders are they located in and what program will extract the files so you can work on them? 2. Do I need anything other than Photoshop 7, and are there specific plug-ins I need? 3. Any special process for getting the new skins back into the program and sharing them with others? I know I must have missed this basic info somewhere in the forums, but I just can't seem to find it. Again, thanks to anyone who can help get this old man back to something I've really enjoyed doing. SOF_Wolff
