Bold Venture v2 is now ready for the public.

There is just one change to the last beta, I have lettered each floor in the Office buildings, my intentions were to use numbers but the Building Text in the editor won't allow the use of numbers plus when using letters with this feature they were so washed out you couldn't see them. I ended up using the alphabetic letters included in the game, these are quite large and black in colour, the only downfall with these is that they are dynamic so if you shoot them or use a nade near them they will come off the wall.

Bold Venture

Your mission at Condor didn't end well, two pilots were captured after their Littlebirds were shot down. Intel suggest that they are being held hostage at a location in Mexico, HQ needs these pilots alive and repatriated before the rebels interrogate them and get vital information by force.

We need you to secure the hostages so they can be rescued by helicopter, also at this location there is a highly active Communications system which the rebels are using to inform their Generals about our movements inside Mexico, this needs to be secured and destroyed.

Before we can arrange your extraction you need to eliminate all air defences and any heavy armour plus secure their headquarters.

Your mission:

1. Secure Hostages.

2. Eliminate Air Defences.

3. Destroy Comms Systems.

4. Secure Depot.

5. Secure HQ.

Switches:

As usual this mission is adaptive, if you are playing alone you will be in Easy mode but if more players join then it will update itself and then be in Hard mode.

If there is more than one player the mission will be in Hard mode but if all but one player leaves, the mission will then be in Easy mode.

Easy Switch:

If there is more than one player then use this switch to play the Easy version (this switch does nothing if you are playing alone).

Hard switch:

If you are playing alone then use this switch to play the Hard version (this switch does nothing if there is more than one player).

IED's:

The IED's are random so you won't know which vehicle is armed so it will vary each time you play. You can now destroy the IED's with grenades or GL plus the usual C4.

New Feature:

Again the map includes two new custom made buildings, the first is a complete remake of the city office which includes a full interior with 7 stories, the second is again a remake of the industrial residence, you will also find the two new buildings from my previous map included in this one.

Great new buildings and mission as usual. It did end on a sour note as I found out the hard way about those letters you used to label each floor. After many hours of Hard SP action I got to my last objective of blowing up the comm. antennas. Got up to the last floor (I) and sure enough during a gun battle with the enemy the letter fell off the wall and blocked my way up onto the roof. I shot it and threw grenades at it to no avail. It moved a little but still wouldn't allow me to get up the stairwell to the roof. Guess I should have brought a hatchet to the battle so I could have chopped those letters down to size.
