JohnTC02
Operation: Alianza v2 is ready for the public. Thanks goes to Rahnman an the TAW squad for all their work testing the alpha versions. There are four missions in the bundle, day and night multiplayer missions and day and night lone wolf missions. Download Link, Screenshot is in the zip file: DOWNLOAD Mission Author: JohnTC02 File Size: 12.5 Mb Version: 2 Description: Operation: Alianza Colonel Jimenez was not very happy when he was informed that Zuus González escaped in the Littlebird at Coronado. Once again Jimenez has been working under cover tracking down González and has located him at a Town called Alianza. González and his partner in crime Pablo Mendoza are now joint leaders of the Michoacana Cartel and along with his elite band rebels are producing a new and highly toxic batch of drugs, Intel suggests that González has found a way to make these drugs in large quantities. Your priority here is to find and eliminate Zuus González, this may be your last chance to finish him off as Jimenez has information suggesting that he may be leaving the country taking a large shipment of drugs with him, you must not let this happen. You also need to destroy the drugs laboratory to stop any more drugs being produced at this location. There is also a large quantity of ammunition's stored at this locations so you will need to dispose of these to stop the rebels from rearming, before you can extract you will need to destroy all the air defences and armoured vehicles on the site. Good luck Ghosts, González must not be allowed to escape with the drugs, you will have to put an end to this here and now. Your Mission: 1. Find and Eliminate Zuus Gonzalez 2. Secure the Drugs Laboratory 3. Disable the Transmitter 4. Destroy APC Depot 5. Destroy Adat A 6. Destroy Armoury 7. Destroy Hemtt 8. Destroy Adat B 9. Destroy Howitzer Map list for Dedicated Servers: coop_tc02_operation_alianza_day_v2 coop_tc02_operation_alianza_night_v2 coop_tc02_sp_operation_alianza_day_v2 coop_tc02_sp_operation_alianza_night_v2 At the "APC" objective there is a Mule supply vehicle there that doesn't explode, you can use it to rearm but use it at your own risk, it has a known bug and will cause a crash when carrying certain weapons, these are the RPG and M32 so if you are carrying these weapons DO NOT use the mule. You have been warned. when you reach the "Eliminate Zuus" objective you will be able to finish him off by planting c4 on him, to make use of this effect avoid throwing grenades into the room where he is located as this will kill him before you get a chance to use the c4. There are four missions included in the bundle, a day and night multiplayer mission and day and night lone wolf version, as usual the lone wolf version has "sp" (single player) in the name of the mission. The lone wolf version have less vehicles, the AI count is also reduced by 30% from the multiplayer version. Thanks goes to Rahnman and his TAW squad for testing the alpha versions. sightreader
ACK! Bug alert! When I install Alianza v2 along with all the current betas, GRAW2 crashes when I try to start a client server with the following: Crash in application version: 30899.3048 Unhandled exception - access violation C STACK: graw2 (???) : ??? Renderer: threaded Physics : threaded Note: this is NOT while playing the level - it crashes simply trying to "Create Server". The most recent entries into my "custom_levels" directory are the following: coop_tc02_operation_manosos_v1.bundle coop_tc02_operation_alianza_v2.bundle coop_bogie_hcb_v1_3b.bundle coop_bogie_swarm_v1_1b.bundle coop_bogie_levantamiento_v2.bundle Removing Alianza prevents the client server crash from occurring. JohnTC02
My first thought here was that maybe you have to many bundles in your custom_levels folder but I think if this is the case the game crashes on start up. This is the first time anyone has mentioned this so I'm not sure why it should be a problem in your case. These GRAW2 crash logs are not my strong point, I always thought that the C Stack error was a typical game crash but if it's happening all the time there must be something else that's causing it. Any ideas anyone?

Any ideas anyone? John/Sightreader I recently experienced a spate of crashes when trying to "Create a Server" and it was the problem reported by TAW Goose some months ago when in fact there seems to be a limit on the number of individual maps/missions you can have in your "Custom Levels" folder. As with Goose I created another folder called "Custom Levels 1" and moved the older less played maps into that. Then loaded up the map that seemed to be causing the problem and everything carried on as normal. It may mean that on certain occasions if you're on a server and an older or less popular map comes up it may not be readily available and will need to be reloaded. It also means, of course, that you will need to keep an eye on the number of new bundles you are adding into "Custom_Levels" as this problem will need managing. This kind of leads me to ask a question about whether or not it is possible to remove some of the alternatives that come with the bundle. For instance I almost exclusively play the main mission in a bundle and the remainder are pretty much superfluous to requirements - to me at least. That would certainly have an impact in reaching this threshold within the "Levels" folder. Just a thought. Beyond that I have nothing to suggest. Hm... I don't know, but it seems unlikely. In an effort to get it to work, I purged about 4 or five other levels, then tried alternately adding and removing the levels in my recent addition list (see above). The first one that caused crashes starting a client server was Alianza, but I list the others because it might be some sort of incompatibility with one of those other levels - maybe a certain combination can't co-exist? JohnTC02
Sightreader, I have all the bundles you mention installed but do not get the error you mention. The thing to remember is that most of the bundles contain multiple missions, Bogie's Hardcore Blues has 12 missions on it's own and most of mine contains 4, so if you are near to the limits of what the game can handle removing just 4 bundle files may not be enough. You may need to remove more bundles and try again to see if this helps. I don't know what else to suggest.
Anthony
Sightreader I too have all of the bundles mentioned and don't get your problem. Why not try a "Custom_Levels" folder with only Alianza in it and see what happens. Anthony
