BT Yahoo (was known as BT Openworld too)..

Have finally got round to bothering to order an upgrade for my ISDN to Broadband lol, due to be installed in another few days.....

"For now" I've just gone with BT Yahoo (will change that later on), and reading the relevant Website to it I got the impression that the packaged Software with the DSL Modem installs it's own Web Browser and possibly other Software that may not be required in general either. May not be reading it right and often what you read isn't always 100% accurate either, so......

Can anyone here "who is on this service" shed any light on that please and if so, is it possible to un-install any "extra" Software, (such as a Third Party Browser when I'd prefer to just use IE), without buggering up the actual service etc???
