Ruin
Since I lost all of my data after "The Great Crash of 03" I'm slowly going to work on throwing together my mini-tutorials that were here. I'll start-off with what I've got on hand. To begin with each post will be a seperate tutorial. Any questions or suggestions should be posted in the skins forum. [*]I'm going to keep this locked for organization's sake, and to keep it easy to read. I hope you all make good use of these mini-guides. Sincerely, Ruin

Ruin
Advanced Skin Modding Trick Number One Making Your Own Wrinkles By: Ruin Seeing as this is the 'first' Mini-Tutorial of it's kind, I'm going to lay some 'ground work': I'm assuming you have already read my 'Basics of Skinning' Tutorial. I also assume you have experience in Adobe Photoshop and with setting up skins. Any post you see with the above title will have these same assumptions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a great way to add items such as pockets, arm cuffs and collars to your 'made from scratch' unifroms. To start off open up Adobe Photoshop. From here, this is the heardest part. Open up any file you can find, or want to use, in Photoshop. Make SURE that they are all plain colored uniforms. Let's say you want to make a pocket on your uniform. Here's what to do: [*]Cut out the pocket you want. [*]Put it into a new document. [*]Convert it to grey scale. [*]Adjust the brightness and contrast to look similar to the other wrinkles. [*]Convert back to RGB [*]Paste it into your new skin and use as a wrinkle! Voila! A new pocket wrinkle.
