RileyFletcher_01
What are your thoughts on armor in GR? Right now, I have it set where Armor level I can be penetrated by several 9mm rounds, Level II by one 5.56 round, Level III by .50 BMG. Not sure it is going to work well though, sometimes it is annoying having to always go for headshots. What do you think I should do? Right now, in the CmbtMdl file I have the values set to... <BallisticArmoredChestFactor0>0.000000</BallisticArmoredChestFactor0> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor1>100.000000</BallisticArmoredChestFactor1> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor2>1000.000000</BallisticArmoredChestFactor2> <BallisticArmoredChestFactor3>2500.000000</BallisticArmoredChestFactor3>
RileyFletcher_01
Changed it to Armor 1 - 300 Armor 2 - 1800 Armor 3 - 2400 Armor 1 will take around five shots with a 9mm or .45. Armor 2 takes one or two with a 5.56 or 7.62. Armor 3 take seven to nine shots with 5.56 or 7.62. Now nobody is invincible in the abdomen, which I like. Cpt. Samuel J.
I say stick with the second setup, it is consistent with the different grades of real life body armor protection.
