DOOM was not as bad as I had anticipated. I went in expecting a mind-numbingly stupid movie but was content in wasting a couple hours with senseless violence. In an interesting twist, the teaser was actually showing the worse part of the movie ... I had feared that a good part of the movie would play off of the first-person shooter concept and be shot from that perspective. In fact, that clip was more of the equivalent of a short dream sequence (something like it) and fit in very well!! The rest of the movie is shot from traditional action movie perspectives.Yes, there is the typical fair of hottie chick and dude ... but in this case they are siblings so no T&A ... still, the movie was enjoyable. If you have several bucks to spare and time to kill, this is a good way to do it
