Noquarter, tyvm! I dl'd those tools, turned off the vert sync and set the frames from 3 to 1. No more problems. Amazing game but very tough. Ty again! That so? I'll try using those tools then. Maybe the coolbits thing I used didn't work right.

Didn't work. I also tried opening my case to let out residue heat during gameplay, didn't do anything. Okay I just turned VSync off, and it might have worked, but just as I finally finished the ###### level after at least 20 tries, the game crashes to the desktop without an error message as the chopper is leaving the extraction point. What the crap.

in the game options? I'll give that a shot.

Hrm, I used a coolbits registry file yesterday from intensive google searching to resolve this problem. I've already set my Max Frames to Render Ahead from 3 to 0. However, should I force off the V. Sync anyways?

the guy over at the ubi forums says that he has latest drivers : / And Im extremely reluctant to update my drivers to 9x.xx. It screws up sprites in older games like Serious Sam and Half-Life 1. Also, I use integrated mobo audio.

(WHOOPS, I didn't mean to make two threads, but I thought I was rejected on firefox, turns out I wasn't. Sorry!) Okay, here is my problem, The screen freezes, but the game is still running. I can't even open the menu on the screen. I can just hear it happening, or hear myself shooting when I click, it's like literally playing blind. I also have 1.35, and my PC specs are Athlon 64 3500+ (2.2Ghz) 1gig of PC3200 RAM, XFX 256mb 7600GT with the last of the 8x.xx drivers. (Do not recommend me updating to the 9x.xx drivers, because I refuse to. It glitches my other games.) So far, this only happens in single player. If I play Multiplayer, the closest error I get is my game crashing. Anyways, this is really annoying me especially due to the checkpoints only type of gameplay. (It's pretty hard to snipe with the mp5, I have only 1 sniper shell left, and 3 enemies on the rooftops, and when I finally take them out, and proceed a bit further, SCREEN FREEZE!) The game is cool, but if this keeps up, it's going to get really unbearable.
