I am a new coming of GR (Ghost Recon), as i have falling in love with its inner most qualities of a fantastic first person shoot 'em up game. Cannot wait download these patches, so i can play online with friend, peace to all of those who play these intreging game...

Few console shooters offer the environmental realism of GR - the use of lay of the land cover ect. It's becoming a bit of an old warhorse though, and the enemy AI is terrible to nonexistant. Hopefully the firefight mod will amend that a bit. O Course with vs multi this is not an issue. This poster would like to see a realistic ballistics mod in the future ( c'mon how hard is it to model gravity?)

I get an error message of "Ghost Recon must be installed first". I recently dumped my computer and put the Red Storm folder over on a backup drive and the brought it back on the main drive so not to lose all my mods. Is there a fix???

Half life the first one is a timeless classic, but i have only played the Training mission and this game seems like it has a Great engine/Gameplay Thumbs up!

Having trouble fining the 3rd patch for the mac. I've found the 4th without any trouble at all, but I need the third first, according to the updater. Of course the 4th claims to be an all in one updater, able to patch all versions to 1.4 http://www.ghostrecon.net/files2/index.php?act=view&id=1115

I have version 1.2.10.0 & still looking for patch 3. I've looked on the aspyr website, the guys who ported it, & it's not listed any more. Anyone have any suggestions? Besides the age old "buy a PC" crap?

no worries, found all patches and an explaination on the aspyr support site - GR is just not mentioned on the main page anymore. The mac updater available on this site http://www.ghostrecon.net/files2/index.php?act=view&id=1115 is only the third patch, but you need to install the first two before this works.

For anyone who had the same problem they can find the patches at http://support.aspyr.com/index.php?x=&mod_id=2&root=149&id=329 , and there are only 3 patches required for mac users to update to v1.4. The aptly named patches v 1.0, 1.0.2, 1.0.3

I bought this game from a neighbor's garage sale for two bucks, and 6 of the original Rainbow Six games. I'm glad that this website is so simply designed and all the information is readily available alongside the patch. Thank you for keeping it running after all of these years!

I reinstalled windows 8.1 and then I installed Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. I tried to installed the patch 3 and 4 and I get an error message of "Ghost Recon must be installed first". I reinstalled it again and keep getting the same error. Any help

Man I don't understand. In the description, it says that the file have 49.6 mb, but the file that I download have only 47.1 mb, and when I try to run it it says that the file is corrupted. So why the download have only 47.1mb?? The same is occurring with the patch 2
