Problems with mod:
Camera jumps back & forward when moving
Needs a switch for left & right perspective
Character is only visable with the SCAR
Crosshair isn't visable when zoomed in
Crosshair obstructs aiming. A red dot or a pic of the aiming device's crosshair would be more practical.
There is a circle to the bottom right of the crosshair that doesn't serve a purpose.
The mod demostrates how much more cinematic GRAW looks in 3rd person. And the chase style of the camera (the way it lags behind the movement of the crosshair) makes aiming smoother.
Combined with edge smoothing it gives the game a high quality look. Wouldn't take much to make this the ultimate explorationg game.
Delay ring around the crosshair before the camera turns.

Highly detailed interiors, with bloom making visability outside heavily reduced so that object culling & excessive mip mapping with a film grain effect can reduce load for the higher quality interiors
Full screen film grain (like silent hill 2) to obstruct the low quality distant objects
Customisable characters: removable gear, different gear. Reducing body aromour locations improves endurance, speed, awareness and improves aiming at the expense of suceptability to shrapnel. Every object that is hit produces minor damage when in close proximity. Direct fire from snipers is lethal, fire from assaultists is lethal 40% of the time and the first few shots miss 60% of the time.
Setting moved to a failed state. Main character someone defending his home area from an invading power attempting to install a government such as the UN, a mercenary group used to empower wealthy newcomers in the new government, geurillas vieing for power & using brutal methods to recruit, fragments of eliminated government usingterrorism such as poisioning water/food sources, blowing up public locations and blaming it on rival factions, free agents defending their home areas and taking you for whatever clothing/gear you are wearing (a combination will make you a geurilla, poorly armed plain clothes will make you a friendly. And other investigative bodies (spies) that if wronged will bring support teams into the area to extract their corpse & increase their factions presence in the area. Some idiot gangsters in the the markets too reminding you that long term degredation is the enemy and the guys that cause wars are nothing but pampered gangsters. Cowards, who's means of power is attained through degredation & subversion of rivals. No active effort to make things better.
Urban and countryside areas, no loading. All land streamed as it would be visable.
Human scripted events that demonstrate right & wrong. Contrasting bullshit fakism with people doing stuff without a plan and it working becasue they try.
Depending on your attitude, towards animals they either scatter when you are near, alerting the enemy, or continue and even investigate you. Some intelligent animals like dogs & cats even leading you to their hideaway in the hopes you'd feed them (smelling food on you helps).
Birds always fly towards food or water or their nest (a safe place).
Witness torture to wake up the player that there are bad people, not just people that are led into the role of one. People that get off on causing suffering.
Moral dilemmas like some people are being killed/dying in one location and another is about to be or is. Maybe one with mostly good people and another with more people, most bad, but more children. Or deciding whether or not to warn an element of an attack that will erradicate them, such as an attack on their base where their famalies are stationed.
People screaming when they are injured, and dazed like they don't care alternately.
Educational minigames, showing how to make shelters using different methods such as rammed earth, and farming different foods. teaching basic english/math & social roles.
Every npc having a different facial arrangement. Non interactable npcs having a randomly generated face. Same textures.
Virtual keyboard/drum machine/synthesiser/sequencer for making music. Virtual instruments for virtual keyboard.
Light & day cycle with weather & fog effects.
Toiletries/sexual urges handled inteligently, with no parody. Candid but parts obstructed. Character doesn't masturbate as it decreases awareness & uses excessive energy. Player specifies at the start what his/her prefered partner looks like. A similar randomised character appears in the game in a similar role to that specified. Essential to showing the player the nice things in life. Love interest will take the player on tour through otherwise unaccessable locations. Underground gardens and hangouts. Good human interaction without doubt or pretense. Easy going vibe that is generally absent usually.
Finished by a massive invasion & occupation. Player is helpless to do anything about. Otherworldly atamosphere, but still a posative slant on things acheived through love interest. Love interest is lured away by money. Happy for her, thinking she is having a better life but confused with nothing to do but work, other activities lacking entertainment, character ages and the last shot is him/her obviously much older discontent on a balcony with wrinkles white hair watching the sun set
