Great Job Chocko! It's good to see you get this released! This should be great for Campaign play. You should also be able to use it to play coop by yourself on your own server. If you try to play coop with other players though the game will crash. Brettzie only had two open slots for attachments and the kits you put in with the SnowFella weapons cause the attachments to exceed the limit of 31.

Jesus, please refer to the README file 'README_Weapon_Masters_v1.0.txt'.
The 'Weapon_Masters' folder should go into the 'Local' sub-directory not into 'mods'.
Then put 'weapon_masters.bat' and 'context_weapon_masters.xml' into the main
game directory, usually called 'Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2'.
Then just run the game using 'weapon_masters.bat'.

Great mod guys and it works perfect. Only a pity that no servers run the mod. Would be alot of fun if everyone uses the mod. Keep up the good work guys.

I tried to make a dediated server with the mod and that worked fine, but when I try to join it or others, it says that I have a different version than the server. If I make an online server though, I don't have that problem and we can join the server and play. Got any idea which files I have to edit to get it working for a dedicated server and so that everyone can join?

jamie: You can only run one weapon mod, but you don't have to remove it completely. If you've installed Brettzies v3.02 in local/English (or whatever language you use), you may need to rename "English" to something else (I usually just put an 'X' in front e.g. "XEnglish"). Since Weapon Masters uses its own batch file and context XML file, you may not even have to do the renaming, but you definitely can't have both running in-game at the same time.
cleaner: I created the mod for SP Campaign mode, so anything beyond that is gravy. When you say you created a dedicated server, it was on a separate PC from the one you were trying to play from, right? If that is the case, you may need to edit context-standalone.xml and change the 'language' attribute from "english" to "Weapon_Masters". If that doesn't help, you should post the question in the forums to tap the brains of more experienced MP players.

@Seam: I don't see why not, but I don't have a Steam version to test on. Try a web search for something like "Steam running GRAW2 mods" if you are having trouble getting it going.
@billy sink: Do you have your game patched to v1.05?

Followed your directions exactly, and it just either runs GRAW2 unmodified or if I use the shortcut the command prompt flashes on the screen for a split second and disappears.

Some things to check:
1. Your game is patched to v1.05
2. The files context_weapon_masters.xml and weapon_masters.bat are in the main installation directory which is where graw2.exe should be located.
3. In the 'Local' sub-directory of that same location should be the mods sub-dir called 'Weapon_Masters'.
4. You're starting your game with weapon_masters.bat
If all those things are true, then once you try running the batch file and the game doesn't start, find the separate location where your saved games are stored, check the 'GRAW2' base for the file 'crashlog.txt' and see if the log has a meaningful error message. For my Win7 install, this location is:
C:\Users\Chocko\AppData\Local\GRAW2

I had trouble, as well.
Eventually, followed the main instructions and added three more (which kinda work around what the BAT file does):
1) Put a COPY of context_Weapon_Masters.xml into the main GRAW directory, right where you'll find the original Context.xml file.
2) Rename the original context.xml file to ContextOLD.xml
3) Rename the copy of the file in step 1 to context.xml
(To uninstall, reverse the steps above)

Brettzie? You still around?
I don't want to seem ungrateful (but I'm sure this will) but I got addicted to the Leupold Scope attached to the M16A4 that you added for GRAW1. Is it a pain in the @$$ to add that beauty to the M16A4 for GRAW2?
It would be great to have the FN-FAL back, as well. I fell in love with that hardware in real life.

Oy...no responses to my two previous posts; hopefully someone will read and respond to this one:
Where can I find copies of the weapon files for the M32? It seems to be part of the original weapon collection, not the Mod Pack, but I don't see a way to access the original weapon files.I suspet they're on the CD-ROM, but I don't know which file has them or how to extract just the set I need.
I want to try making the M32 into either a secondary or side-arm weapon. Any advice?
And, of course, thanks Brettzie, Chocko, and Snowfella for your prior work on this stuff.

Snakehead: This type of question would be better placed in the Weapons Modding section rather than in Downloads, but the short of it is, you'll need the 'quick.bundle' file from the CD along with a bundle extractor in order to get at the files. Then it's a matter of searching through XML text files for references to the M32.

BBoySpec: This was made with Brettzies v3.0 mod. The OTS version of his mod is a separate entity and would require its own version of this mod. I'll have to leave that to someone else to do.

i play GRAW 2 with a 4 of my friends so the total player is 5 player. but when all of us connect to server n the game will crash. but if i play by my self its ok. please help me all. i like so much this game to play with my friends.
