What makes for a good co-op partnership?
This is a question we were asking ourselves recently, and we got to thinking the only way you can really know if your team makes a good partnership is to put it to the test.
So we’re doing just that - we’re inviting you to show us what you’re made of.
How does this work?
Each Friday for the next 6 weeks we will release a brand new GRAW 2 custom co-op game mission for your team to complete. You then have a week to practice and record your best scores with one other co-op partner.
To submit your entry you’ll need to take a screen shot of the score screen and post it to the Ghost Recon facebook page wall BEFORE the close of play each week.
We’ll review all entries and pick star players.
So what makes a star player/ team?
We’ll be looking at teams who can complete the maps with as much stealth gameplay as possible. In order to gauge this we've introduced a clever scoring script into the missions that will display your score at the end of the mission. The team returning the best score will win.
In addition to the above we’ll be looking at those players who participate the most across the whole co-op challenge, you might not earn star player status through stealth but determination could prevail.
JohnTC02 has coded a unique scoring system. To be fair we are explaining the exact details of this scoring system.
SCORING SYSTEM
Each mission contains:
1. 50-90 enemy AI depending on the map.
2. Two compulsory objectives and two or three optional objectives (see #6 below) depending on the map.
3. Three hidden objectives, these have no waypoint markers so you will need to hunt for them, they consist of two metal barrels with a computer on top of them, plant your c4 on the computer and detonate to complete the objective.
Each mission has a scoring system, you will see your score at the end of the mission on the map change screen, when each mission ends be ready to take a screenshot or picture as proof of your score, the maximum score you can achieve is 200 points.
How the scoring system works:
4. Each mission has 5 separate groups of AI, each group will have 10-20 AI in them, if you do not kill all the AI in a group you will lose 10 points for that group, you can lose up to 50 points for this part on each mission, to make things a bit easier you will see a on screen message telling you when you have killed all the AI for a given group.
5. For each hidden objective you complete you will gain 20 points.
6. For each optional objective you complete you will gain 20 points, the optional objectives have "20 points" marked on the waypoint markers, no additional points are given for completing the compulsory objectives.
7. For each 5 minutes that passes you will loose 5 points.
You will need to decide if you will want to spend the time on the hidden/optional objectives plus find and kill all the AI in each group, complete the mission quick and you will gain points for the extra objectives, take to long and what you gain with the optional objectives you will loose in time penalties, the decision is yours.
Rules:
There are few rules to the challenge.
An example screen shot will be shown here when the tournament kicks off, this is what we need to see to validate your score. Just hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard quickly when this screen appears, then save the image file somewhere on your PC before posting it on the Facebook page.

How do I post my screen shot?
When viewing the Ghost Recon Facebook page wall you’ll note the comment box at the top of the wall just like the one shown on your profile page. If you do not see the comment box, make sure you have clicked the "like" or "join" button first.
To add a picture simply select the ‘photo’ option, then select to upload your image as you would normally.
Once completed this will put your screen shot into our ‘added by others’ album so we can review the scores throughout the challenge.
