So there I am, all ready to try this mod out on a test mission. I load up, and one of the first things I notice is that my favourite scoped specialist (Jacobs) had been nerfed. Having a scope on the weapon usually means you’ll be able to hit targets far far away right? Little did I know that he couldn’t hit anything even while in prone position. However, when it finally became clear to me after a while that he should be considered more of a “short to medium range fighter", I felt a bit like a newbie, but as soon as I got used to the change I actually thought it was very good and kept on playing. Suddenly, I become pinned, and switch to my support for some suppressing fire. Now, instead of only suppressing, this guy spanked every thing I aimed him at instead of the almost “blind fire” feel of the original. I figured that change was pretty nice since, well, machineguns are machineguns after all. There was only one bad thing about this mod which almost made me inactivate it. Here’s the deal. Me, I’m a sniper type of guy – and guess what. One of the sniper specialists in the game is nerfed beyond comparison. While looking at him through another team mate, he clearly has a scope on his rifle, however while playing him you can’t actually USE the scope. That’s right, a sniper without his range. Picture yourself playing “The Dam” with that guy. Sure, might be fun to position him somewhere and switch to Alpha or Bravo and watch as the “enemy down” spam from Charlie litters up the screen, but seriously, where’s the fun in that? Even though I HOPE this is a bug, I’m not so sure it is since the “stock” or “normal” snipers could zoom just fine. I don’t recall him being this gimpy when I completed the game. Other than this issue with the sniper, I really enjoyed how I almost needed to use smgs for short distance, rifles for medium, snipers for long and mgs for massive damage instead of the old “I’ll just pick a demolition guy and solo this mission”.

This mod has that problem that you cant zoom with the mouse wheel but I thought you could zoom fine with the keyboard.
