Mexbob Urban Combat
Added: 17/09/10 04:26:27
Description: Mexbob Urban Combat

New version released:
A problem with the lightmaps and some missing textures has been fixed and a new version v3 has been released.

Mission Creator: Legacy - Modified by Mexicobob
Map by Los Fiero - Modified by Mexicobo

Based on tutorials from www.graw.pbwiki.com
And assistance from the ghostrecon.net forums

Mission Briefing.
Due to heavy fighting the allies have pulled out.
Believing you to be dead, your buddies have left you behind.

You were however only concussed following a heavy mortar attack, as you come round you realise you are alone.

After informing command that you are still alive and active..... you are advised that it will be impossible to launch a rescue whilst the enemy are still pounding the area. Command requires you to take out two adats, an Howitzer that is being repaired and a communications tower, however, the Mexican mercenaries have now occupied the area and placed patrols and snipers in strategic positions to protect the area.

There may still be some Ghosts in the area to help .... but you must assume you are alone.

Your objectives:
1. Take out the adats
2. Destroy the Antenna
3. Destroy the Howitzer
4. Extract

This is not a shoot fest .... you will need to use your Ghost stealth tactics or suffer high fatalities.

Good luck Ghost !!

JohnTC02 found some lightmap problems with version2 which he was kind enough to fix and the mission is now v3. The size has also been reduced to 7 mb from 17mb. The download link at the release forum has been updated to reflect the v3. Check back here later for the updated link.

Thank you for your patience.

What do you guys think about the release for PC ( Ghost Recon Future Soldier).I think its stupid , their working more on ps3 and xbox360 than PC.This is kinda sad for people who play games on PC , we have to wait another year and 3 months.

Posted By CJ.BH on 24/09/10 11:04:36

Makes me sick that they ALWAYS place console players over PC players.
