| Description: | This is four training missions (campaign) from Airborne Rangers 1968. This is a public beta, and not the full mod.
"Read Me Airborne Rangers 1968 Pub Beta" First I want to say thank you for downloading my mod. Then I want to say do not expect anything great, this is very early in my mod. I’m letting you guys get a feel for my iron sights, and take a look at a few of my other ideas. I only added four single player missions, but you can use my guns and sights to play regular Ghost Recon. After saying that I hope you enjoy my mod, and stick around and be a fan until it is finished. INSTALLITION: Unzip the zip to your GhostRecon/mods/ folder, and then activate it And enjoy. CAMPAGIN SET UP: Go to new campaign, type in a name you want to use Airborne Rangers campaigns, and then click on the right side AbR campaigns. IMPORTANT: If you do not want an ugly yellow sights then you have one of two options, copy over my options.xml in Ghost Recon\Mods\AbR1968BETA\OptionsXML if you do this you will have to reset up your movement controls, and video again. Or you can edit your options.xml in your ghost recon folder, by right clicking on it, and pressing edit, or open it with notepad, find the line of script that says reticuleclor, there should be six and change them to this: You also have a third option, play with the nasty yellow sights, if you have any trouble with this please email me at filpy_sdsp@hotmail.com WHAT EVER YOU DO PLEASE BACK UP YORU ORIGINAL OPTIONS.xml HELP WANTED: So far I am the only one that is really working on this mod, I would love some help from dedicated people if you are interested in helping me please give me an email. filpy_sdsp@hotmail.com or contact me at msn/icq/aim msn- "filpy_sdsp@hotmail.com" icq- "23028249" aim- "filpy". Thx to: Well I really have a long list of thx to say, ill start from the beginning, I was about to delete my Ghost recon folder for good when I stumbled upon a server that was using commutation program, and running missions with tactics, and planning, this server was XLII (www.xlii.com), from then on i have been hooked on Ghost recon. Apophis for giving me my web page space, and running my missions on XLII servers. Rose and Karma from XLII showed me the ropes on missions thx to them. Next is "Piccolo" from day one of this mod he was the man I bugged, I pumped him for so much info I don’t think he likes me =). Next and this is probable the same for allot of first time Ghost Recon moders is Javaman from theplatoon.com, he helps so many people with Ghost Recon moding he only sleeps 2 hours a night, or was at one point. Last is my new guy to pump info from, Don Miguel from WOI mod team. I’m sure I missed some people if I did I’m sorry, But thx to all I listed. |
