Avey 0
Has anyone made a mod with the weapons used by delta force in Black hawk down Ermmm, probably. As there isn't a specific BHD mod you'd have to look around various mods mate. Try Sabre Teams, that features Delta skins so maybe it has delta weapons. Hold on i don't know what I'm talking about, i don't know what weapons delta used in Somalia lol
ScarfaceSAS 0
They are included with GR/DS/IT. Do you mean the same weapons with the same attachments/scopes, if so then that is a different story. About the only weapon that isn't included in GR is the m14. dagger 0
Deltaforce used m4 with aimpoints an flashlights, and colt commandos with aimpoints.
Gryphon 0
How could they have used M4s in 1993? There were no M4s until 1994 AFAIK

Parabellum 12
They used CAR-15's and Colt Commando's. I don't know of any prevalent mods that feature either weapon.
Avey 0
How could they have used M4s in 1993? There were no M4s until 1994 AFAIK I thought M4's had been around since the 80's. But you're probably right, i know ###### about weapons
Gryphon 0
I thought M4's had been around since the 80's. But you're probably right, i know ###### about weapons Shortened versions of the M16 weapon HAVE been around for a long time. Models like the Colt Commando, CAR-15, XM177 and so on were all issued in smaller parts and are still used by some units. Rangers tend to use the XM177E2 on occasion and I've heard Marines still have Commandos in stock. The M4 was a sort of government approved fully funded "real life" general issue and design of such a weapon. It differs from the earlier versions in the configuration of the barrel and its ability to carry the M203 grenade launcher. Hope this clears it up.
Suicide Commando 0
Nishi's model mod has some weapons like those you're looking for. http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~nmm/a-news.cgi
Marcinko 1
M4's werent around til 93... they used modified Cras, and by modified, i mean the heatgaurd, is one like the m4's. The m16a1, IIRC, was introduced, to replace the m16, in 1967, then in '82, the A2 came around, then in 94, the m4, was renamed, not sure what from, but i can look it up. they more than likely did use m14's, as they were considred VERY accurate rifles back at that time,IMHO, they still are. Like SC said, NNM's mod, is the closest to this.
Viper 0
In BHD the Delta troopers used specaliy modified CAR-15s with scoped mounted on the carry handle and laserIR sights duct-taped to the heat-guard. The Rangers used stock M-16s. The first apreance of an "M-4 like" weapon was the M-16A1 carbine, a unofficial custom built short version of the M-16A1 built for SEALs and other Spec Ops personell during Vietnam (MAC-V SOG was the only unit in which all members used custom M-16A1 carbines) by the end of the war the CAR-15 had come out, which though still a custum built weapon was made an raher large numbers and used by a number of Spec Ops personell. In '94 the M-4 cam out which was the first "standardized" M-16 carbine and the forst of its type to be issued to non-Spec Ops squads (like Rangers and Airborne troops). The M-4 was also the first carbine with a single barrel length, before you could find CAR-15s and M-16A1 carbines with 7,10,13,and 14.5 inch barrels. All M-4s have a 15 inch barrel. Also used was the M-14, M-21, M-60E3, and M-249 SAW (FN Minimi). The pilots of the helicopters had MP-5K-PDWs. CLARK
