Super-Bob 0
Whats switch?
Syncopator 0
@SB A debit transaction card. Much like the Visa DELTA format. Not credit as such as the funds must be in your current account at point of transaction (technically!) as opposed to a monthly 'bill' against a credit limit. SEE HERE It is a very common facility on UK current account ATM cards - almost all banks offer it as standard. Not to be confused with SOLO or ELECTRON which are for lower/bad credit rating accounts. magnumkp 0
I thought it was only 16 y/os with their first bank account who had solo cards? Not that any shop ever takes them mind you. I get confused with my Switch and my business bank card (cash withdrawals only). And to add it all HSBC has let me have a paying in card for our business bank account so I don't have to queue for 20 minutes every bloody lunchtime to pay in £100 worth of cheques. Whats with all this automation? Never heard of employing more people, rather than just 1 person behind the desk? ARGGGHHH. And I had to queue 10 minutes for some stamps at the post office. I could have got deep vein thrombossis (can't spell.) Wheres that off topic sign? Good question Cobblers, I don't trust pay pal, after their user base got sent fake emails to do with ebay. What was that all about? Do you mean when people were mass spammed with fake Paypal e-mails asking them to confirm their details?

As one of their few Scottish customers (I walk by their sole branch in the West of Scotland in Glasgow city centre...every day - the only reason!) I am particularly amazed at this 'one teller does all' at rush hour lunchtime... BANKS.

Rocky 1,224
The main banner ad at the top of the news page is the only pay-per-click advert we run here. However, if there are no paying ads to show, it will show a non-paying default banner, which at the moment is set to Hypernia. So if you see Hypernia ad running, there's no point in clicking (unless you plan on buying a server heh) but if you see anything advertised up there - click away! Thanks. Rocky, you should put more pay-per-click ads up so that use ad-clickers have something usefull to click CLARK From what Rocky's said in the past, there's a reason for the lack of pop-up ads and that is that the reserve of them has basically dried up. He isn't being supplied any by the company he should be getting them from. ... Or something like that... I'm sure he can explain better.
