how do I apply "voice" to my characters

I making a little mod and it includes a female character., she has a male voice when she speaks (man down.....he's history......etc etc)

when you create a character does GR automatically attach a mail voice or will it attach a female voice if you used a GR female body ( Lindy, Jodit, Susan or Astra) and if you use a GR female .chr

I'm not 100% sure about this...but I think its hardcoded to the .atr files name. If you use one of the original female caracters .atr file but linked to your female .chr file she should speak with a female voice...but as I said...I'm not a 100% sure about this

As I recall, and I can't remember where I read it, the voices are directly linked to the chr names. So, in order to get the female voices, you have to start the female chr file with either lindy, susan, astra or eritrean.

So, you should end up with:

lindy_specialist.chr, susan_specialist.chr, or whatever you want to name the file, the crucial bit is the name at the start.

I know for a fact that the actors in my favorite mods with specialists include names of the women as men actrs. Like SOF, Delta Force CQB, and NMM's Deltas and Rangers or SEALs and Devgru.

Yep, female voices are hard coded into the game. To get a female voice you have to have the actor called either: Astra, Lindy, Susan or Jodit

Ok, I used up all the female .atr for my female character and she still has a male voice.

so that bad girl's gonna have to get a sex change operation or she better get her act together and speak with a female voice like she's supposed to or I'll delete her ass.

Lexsis all you have to do is rename the .chr files.

Add these names before your file then change the .atr to read them.

Lindy, Susan,Astra, or Eritrean

EG:- astra_mymodel.chr
