Seargent Schroeder 0
When I first found this website and Oh how happy I am that I did I found the Download section only had descriptions of the new files. Mabie I should have looked harder but its just my 2 bits. Other wise you guys are running a heaven for all GR players.
McNamee 0
If you look, there should be a link to the download under the description server saying "At war" or "Fileplanet" clcik on these links...
Specter 0
Each file download description has a link to the file in it at the end of the blurb about the file. I just checked a bunch of them so I know they are working OK. If the @war, Fileplanet, or alternate link isnt working for you, I might suggest taking a look at your browser. Is there a particular file that you were having trouble with?
Seargent Schroeder 0
No I was just saying that the downloads could have a larger discription with them on the same page. Thats all.
foxship 0
I recently went to the revamped download section and found it far easier to find what I needed. Just how many things are there is mind boggling, I wouldnt want to be in charge of it thats for sure. foxship
Pyro_Monty 0
No I was just saying that the downloads could have a larger discription with them on the same page. Thats all. The descriptions are provided by the mod-makers themselves. If they don't want people to know what their mod is about then it probably isn't worth downloading. If you mean the 'Spotlight' features in the centre table, those are fan choices. If Rocky or the staff here were to spend their time writing descriptions for all of the several hundred mods... the site would never be improving. You wouldn't see the continual forum improvements, the file manager, the hardware reviews... nothing. For this reason the descriptions are left entirely up to the modders. AO3_Stron 0
I find the "Mod Reviews" in the Modding section helpfull.. There's allways someone talking about the newest and greatest Mods...
Rocky 1,224
No I was just saying that the downloads could have a larger discription with them on the same page. Thats all. I hear ya, but there's only so many hours in a week, and I already spend 40 hours on this hobby, and the rest of the staff spend an enormous amount of their own free time on the site too. Our downloads section provides more info per mod than any other site anywhere, but I am still working on improving it, takes time is all.
