Sup
Looks like it may be the game to play while we wait for GR2. It was originally developed for US millitary training. XBOX gamespy preview Link fixed. Edited September 8, 2003 by Rocky
Rocky
The problem with FSW is that it is not a Shooter at all - it's all tactics. At no point do you get the satisfaction of taking the aim and pulling off a great head shot. It does look like a well put together game, but it is not on the same shelf as FPS IMHO. firefly2442
It sounds like a realistic strategy type game. A different concept for sure. It will be interesting to see how it plays. Edit: just saw the video. Interesting. Kinda like R63 but everything is about tactics. Me like. Zantar45
It reminds me of general chaos for the old SEGA Genesis. You pick your team of soldiers and point and click where you want them to go. I havent seen the new video yet but when I saw the E3 preview of it, the soldiers wasted a hell of alot of ammo on one guy. Personally I'd like to shoot my enemy then tell my guys to. foxship
It looks amazing, I just read the review in pcgamer and it is touted as being urban warfare with real type reactions from your troop members. In a way I hope its not like GR,something close but different would be nice. NurFACE
" You may want to look at PC gamer. This game was covered in a recent pc gamer magazine. I would give month but once I read magazine I gave it to my son who does god knows what with them.

Kurtz
As far as I can see, You are just an observer to a firefight. It's like watching a movie. This is nowhere near GR in terms of gameplay and tactics. How much replayability would this have and how long would it be before the initial novelty wore out. If you want to be a bystander, play this game; if you want to be in the thick of it, you stay with GR.
Guest SI-Prozac
I was looking at it and it kinda reminds me of ravenshield but u can play as a person in rvs and tell your team where to go / what to do

ReconSnake
The most intelligent squad AI ever created: Full Spectrum Warrior accurately simulates the actions and reactions of soldiers in intense combat environment. This part sounds interesting. And any game that has Gunny Ermey doing the voice-over for its trailer can't be all bad.
