BlueRose_76 0
Hi guys, Just installed some updates for W2000 and IE. Now my ZoneAlarm is making amok. It just cuts all traffic. After closing zonealarm the connection is restored. I installed this patches: - 822925: Cumulatieve patch voor Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (augustus 2003) - Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (expresinstallatie voor eindgebruikers) - and some minor securitypatches. Im connected by cable/lan, no router I think this is the case; zonealarm reconises modified programs and wont allow any internettraffic by them (because they might be hacked). But im not sure, and i cant figure out how to connect with the protection of the firewall. Anyone? Thanks, BlueRose_76
Specter 0
Well bro, Aside from doing the easy thing and replacing that Zone Alarm with a nice router, I'd say uninstall Zone Alarm with all Registry entries, and eliminate all zone alarm files on your hdd, then reboot, reconfigure your internet connection, and if you have to, re-install Zone alarm.
