I just got PSP and am now enjoying it thoroughly! I needed more desert maps for my next mod, so I decided to retexture one. I've only got one screenie, cause my others wouldn't load. Anyway, tell me what you think. And please remember, this was done with PSP and GR skinner, not 3dsmax. It's the High Sierra map with desert textures. Though I'm immensely proud, there's nothing more I can do for now! It will appear in my next mod. Here's the eye candy!

Hope you like it!

Good idea, more desert-maps, but what you're gonna do about the palm-trees and Jungle-flora ?

I know Mike Schell made a treeless map (caves), but how ? Don't know, but you could use it to remove the palmtrees.

It's also possible to give the tree-textures a 'blank texture' (so they're invisible), but they're still there !

Anyway, good idea, and good luck !

Not to be wierd or anything, but I actually think the trees look pretty good. Kind of like an Australian bush land that they portray in the movies. And the pictures of the mountains I've seen in Djibouti showed them to be about this lush! :o This would make a good map for other campaigns. If anyone's interested, just ask and I'll send it to you somehow. Hopefully you've got MSN!

And besides, I have no idea how to get rid of the trees! :starwars:

i have been trying to MOD some maps with IGOR, but not much advancement is taking place. Could you send me some tips to help me out to: autobmx@aol.com

BTW, those mission objectives look tempting.. :)

Whoa . . . Careful there Annie Oakley. I'm not the person you wanna ask this from. If you're intent on it, email me and ask questions. I need to know what you need before I can help. snared_gambit@hotmail.com
