Actually you can.

Go into the GR folder...... C:/Program Files/RSE/GR/Mods/Orgimiss/Command Maps.

(Origmiss=GR, MP1=Desert Siege, MP2=Island Thunder)

All you really gotta do is remove the Original GR command maps and open the Super Grids folder. Remove the orginal GR command maps and drop the Super Grid ones in.

That is IF I remember correctly. I could be wrong so you might want more advice before doing so. I do know however the Grids stay up even in MP since you techniclly alter the files.

Of course Kid Buster will stop you from playing on servers when you have the grids.

*I take no responsibility if you screw up your GR files.*

Zantar is correct.

However, I recommend you perform these steps in the order mentioned:

-1 In your Ghost Recon root folder, create a folder named "Original Cmd Maps"

-2 In "Original Cmd Maps", create 3 folders named "Origmiss", "MP1", and "MP2".

-3 Find your Origmiss Commmand Maps folder, and select all 15 maps. Then, cut the selected objects and paste them in your "Origmiss" folder in the "Original Cmd Maps" directory.

-4 Find your "MP1" Command Maps folder, and select all 8 maps. Then, cut the selected objects and paste them in your "MP1" folder in "Original Cmd Maps" directory.

-5 Find your "MP2" Command Maps folder, and select all 8 maps. Then, cut the selected objects and paste them in your "MP2" folder in "Original Cmd Maps" directory.

-6 Select, cut, and paste the appropriate "Super Grids" maps into the Origmiss, MP1, and MP2 Command Map folders.

This enables you to always have "Super Grids" active, even though the server you are connected to doesn't have them enabled.

@DR and Zantar

That's what I thought. I just wanted to make sure before I did something I would later regret. Something I have done before with GR. Right Phantom? :rolleyes:

Right on bro. We have definitely been down that road before.

But Zantar and DR have you steered right. I know it works. Just back up your original files first, so that if something does go South, you can put them back to original with minimal fuss, and be fraggin' again within minutes.
