Weapons in GR

I am an advid player of GR. Have many of the mods installed. I have found a couple of guns that I use often. I wanted to know if there was a tool for editing the characteristics of a particular weapon? Like I want to put a silencer on one of them? Is this possible?

Not that it matters, but the forum said to list my specs:

Windows XP

512mb ram

600gb HD (200x3)

GR Gold Edition

2.84ghz Intel Processor

128mb GeForce4 video

i think this should be in "weapons modding"

anywho, the guns can be edited with notepad or igor, you can make them sound silenced, but there is not one on the gun in game. to add a visible silencer to the weapon you need 3dmax or similar

hey

open igor. go to tools i think on the toolbar. go to weapon editor

there u can modify the gun charicteristics and create new guns under a different file name(i do not recommend saving over an exsisting weapon file, just add a number to the end of the original file name.)

you can also crate projectiles, just go to the tools on the toolbar and click projectile editor.there u can create projectiles to be shot out of your newly made weapon!!
