what is more important for you when you are playin' a mission???

Random Enemy Placing

or

Random Objectives

or

Random Trigger Plans

or

Random Music/Soundeffects

or

Random Weather

or........

--any suggestions what can I randomize too :P

I have a mission with a sort of random helo pickup. Basicly if the LZ isn't clear the choppers go to the next LZ. You could also include random ambushes when ever the player walks into a zone. Maybe if you want instead of having random objectives have random places where the objectives take place like if you have to destroy a tank have the thing in different places on the map. Same thing with POW's or hostages.

Random

insertions/extractions,

enemy spawns/plans,

objectives,

toughness (recruit-veteran-elite).

You could make two missions in one, and randomly chosen which one will be started. Forget about the briefing :P , do it 'on the fly'.
