If you haven't got it i recommend you go and buy it, if you really want it that is...cause its about £
Lancer 1
Paintshop Pro will do a good job for making sigs if you can't get a hold of Photoshop.

Dannik 43
If anyone is looking for a proefssional quality image editing program, that is legitimately free software, as it has been released as a GNU licenced application, check out the GIMP homepage (GNU Image Manipulation Program, this G.I.M.P.) Specifically, the Windows version can be found here. Again, this is legitimate freeware, although like most projects of this nature, the creators certainly wouldn't hate it if you donated a little something if you like their program. I'm not having problems uploading, I', having problems getting that corel 8 thing to work Which corel program is it that you are using exactly? Draw, Photo-Paint, R.A.V.E... ? Any good links to help those new to creating sigs and such ? There isn't really any links to tutorials on how to create sigs, but the next best thing is to look for different tutorials on things that you use to create sigs - cutting out images, masks, using filters (learn this one!!), altering images...etc...etc. Look fo rones that will help you create sigs. Here's a few sites for you to check out... http://www.spoono.com/tutorials/photoshop/ http://www.sigcenter.com http://robouk.mchost.com/ http://www.sigshack.com/forums/ http://www.photoshopcafe.com/ http://www.thinkdan.com/

Velocity 0
Photo-Paint and some cool shoots i found off of google OK. To save an image on Photo-Paint, so it can be uploaded and used, you will need to use the Export function, instead of using Save As. This is because the Save As function only allows you to save the image as a CPT or PSD which will not work later when tryng to view it as most things will not support them. Instead go to File>Export>Export and this then allows you to choose a more apporpriate file type to save the image as - i recommend using either .gif or .jpg. Hope this helps.
