GR PS2 ?

Actually, I would imagine that it's more due to the fact that they would have had to set up the whole server infrastructure again. They wouldn't be able to use there current PC one due to the differences in the games (PC has more maps and mods). With the XBox, M$ provides the infrastructure for them already (something EA doesn't like).

I'm not trying to put down UBI or anything but from what I hear it sounds like they did a really poor job of porting Ghost Recon to the PS2. I feel very disappointed that the XBOX version seems to have turned out much better. I'm a big fan of realistic games and I've had to turn to FPS's like Red Faction 2 on the Playstation, which isn't very realistic because there isn't much to choose from that could match GR. I didn't think the graphics in Ghost Recon were stunning or anything and don't really see the difficulty in UBI making a good version of Ghost Recon on the PS2. I think they should have put more time into making it, and thought of the people that will probably never buy it for the PC and will only ever own the PS2 version.

You can do much better on the PS2 as well, even though it doesn't have the graphic capabilities of the XBX.

I think that they really messed up when they didn't add support for link.... As they have teh split screen MP option, why not use link and up to at least 4 players to get away from split screen? Stupid. But we got DS instead, and cooler movies.
