Crimson 0
What are some good game pads out there? Playing Madden 2004 with a joystick is... just not right. Same with the keyboard.
NightCrawler 137
I got a thrustmaster that is almost exactly like the PS 2 pad, works great for Madden.

Crimson 0
Hm, the only thing Im a little concerned about is that it looks to big. Also, are there buttons around where your index and middle fingers would be? (IE a PS and PS2 controller.)
Rocky 1,224
Saitek p880 is what I got for playing Nascar. It's working out fine, and has some pretty advanced software for programming it.

Rocky 1,224
I have a Gravis Game Pad Pro, its exactly like the ps2 controller, same buttions and everything...um...and i use it to play NHL 2003, so give it a try its cheap to! It's a Gravis I had, but one of the multi-directional buttons stopped working so I bought that saitek pad. Gravis seem to be good too, I could never understand the config software, it looks neat, but too complex for me lol.

(IE a PS and PS2 controller.) yeah, n heavy with 4 AA batteries...if I bought it, I would take the step down...with cord gamepad...
Specter 0
I like the Logitech or Saitek personally. Both are great products.
firefly2442 0
Microsoft Sidewinder Freestyle Pro with motion sensor. It's an older one but great at playing games. The motion sensor is really cool. Uses serial port with an included serial to USB convertor if you prefer.
NightCrawler 137
Here go check this bad dog out, I'm sure that you'll find it more to your liking then most of the others. http://us.thrustmaster.com/products/lookpr...0&skin=Gamepads Especially for Madden.
Crimson 0
Once the Saitek p880 comes in stock, Ill be buying it. I like the fact that there are six buttons up by your right thumb. Im looking at the cordless one, but Ive never cared for batteries.
Rocky 1,224
Once the Saitek p880 comes in stock, Ill be buying it. When you install it you get a choice, the normal install that is quick and easy and gets you up and running for all your games. Or the Serious Gamers install that includes some sort of programming shinanygans. I just went for the easy option, but I might reinstall it with the programming stuff just to see what its all about. What I noticed, was that it has to be plugged in when you boot, or else the controller goes all funny - in Nascar for example the car pulled to the left really bad. I thought USB meant you could remove and plug it in at anytime. "
Crimson 0
Its a NASCAR issue. If my joystick isnt in when the game is started, I have to restart 2003. So much for plug and play.
