Dark Ranger 0
What other mods did you have activated at the time? Try the Boot Camp mission again, but just activate Desert Siege, Island Thunder, and HX4. Occationally, I get a similar problem you describe - it will sometimes "draw" the textures in white, and it is only when you get closer that they are re-textured appropriately. You might also want to be sure any open apps are terminated prior to launching GR. Things like Word docs, IE windows, and such can pull resourses away from the game you're trying to run. Specter 0
What are your system specs? Also, as fun and great as the HX mods are, they are resource intensive.
OSO 0
The clickteam installer that Frostbite uses detects your Ghost Recon installation through the registry path and defaults to the same default directory that Red Storm issued (C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\) if it can't find that path. I would recommend reinstalling Ghost Recon, Desert Siege, Island Thunder, all from the CD and then applying the 1.4 patch.
