Does it all look okay to you? I am very close to possibly buying it and everything looks okay to me and seems right. I just thought I would run it by somebody else to see if I missed something perhaps.
ZJJ 74
I think it is overpriced for being a Dual P3. " But what do I know.
Stinger 0
P3's are really expensive for some reason but they perform. Here is a break down of what I kinda came up with it costing new...(just thoughts) Dual P3's@1GHz=$180 Mobo=$150+ 2GB PC133 Ram=$266 450 Watt PSU=$85 Case=$100 Ti4200w/128mb=$98 Opticals+6in1=$300 2 40GB HDD's=$100 Sound=$50??? hephaestus 0
you wont find a new asus(which is what he has) ti4200 for $98, would cost a bit more. You'd have to go with a barebones inno3d. sounds like a good deal to me, if shipping is included.. but he says I'm asking $900 OBO + Shipping...maybe he told you different. make him an offer... Okay cool. I just went to pricewatch and went with the lowest for the gpu I didn't bother with the brands so that sweet. And I asked him if 900 shipped was okay and he said yeah it would be. He has good feedback and all and I doubt he would really sell it since most people there like to build their own but I am not gonna build my own Dually at least not yet. Specter 0
Personally, Id offer him 700. For a used system, I think 900 a bit high, but that's just me. Especially for older tech.
Stinger 0
RooK has pretty much convinced me out of it dang him. I think I may just put all the $900 towards a new/upgrade to a prescott or athlon64 system then. And buy some more ram for my current server. The pics are nice though Edit=here were my thinkings but I dont think they will matter now http://exonet.dnsalias.com/css/server.html Edited August 10, 2003 by Stinger
Specter 0
All I got on your link was a blank page, and it takes a really long time to load. What's up with that? And I'd buy it if he would take 600 or 700 for it. Would be a good web server, and good for running graphics apps.

I was thinking the same, my web server isn't that demanding but it'd be nice for photoshop. Maybe the link didn't work cause it was just typed in. Try this: http://exonet.dnsalias.com/css/server.html I can't test from the computer I am on sorry I will have to go fiddle with the server it that doesn't work.
