Crimson 0
I played Ghost Recon on ubi.com for about the first six months it was out. Never had a problem with it. Best bet is just not to look at what people are talking about, or use ASE.
FritzDaKat 0
Thats one of the biggest features I keep hoping to find in there, the ability to disable the chat. I've probably cut about 60% of the initial traffic from this forum by helping new arrivals get patched up All those nut's on Mirc pretending they're admin's or other players, no real visibility of admin since about Thanksgiving last year. And since the Gold pack released, OMG, I almost need a txt file of help, mod and patch links on hand to keep it quiet in there. But lately it's been direct connect, UBI has decided it dosent like me anymore than I like it and tend's to crash frequently, even after multiple re-installs. I secretly think it's an admin lurking in the shadows, trying to do me a favor.
Parabellum 12
I played a few games on Ubi. Even had a few 'regulars' who came and played on my server, until one day, one of the guys kept asking my about the size of my wife's...well... Anyway, moments later a massive firefight erupted between the guys on my server - and we were playing co-op. That was the last time I've ever played on Ubi. And I've clicked on the Uninstall button once, by accident. Afterwards I said some words that I didn't think I remembered how to say, while watching my beloved GR go byebye. Afterwards I said some words that I didn't think I remembered how to say, while watching my beloved GR go byebye. Hehe, and probably made up a few new ones as well I bet. The bit that used to get me was the uninstallers in the Start menu Programs folder, waking up, blurry eye'd, before thinking to make a shortcut in the toolbar or simply deleting the uninstaller as they rarely work well to begin with. But we learn, and move on.

Crimson 0
So, I guess I'm not the only one who used to wake up, and go straight to the PC to play Ghost Recon, eh? When the game first came out, no. Now it mainly consists of wake up, check GR.net for new mods, eat breakfast, then fall asleep again. My most unused button, eh, probably the help button or Play Ghost Recon. (Quick launch baby! )

BlueRose_76 0
Really hate that Windows-Icon button btw. On Mac its the apple-button and its used often. Very, very annoying when working in eg photoshop and all the time the start-menu pops up. Edited August 13, 2003 by BlueRose_76
