I have just completed the map tutorial #1 by Papa6. I followed each step to the T. I did manage to export correctly and also set up an enviroment file for the map. My problem is when I reach the edge of the map my texture from the map drifts off like I'm on a wild acid trip. I was wondering if someone could help me out as to what I need to do to fix that problem. I'm running max 5.1 with the service pack. Thanks in advance.

By the look of the reticule, I can surmise that it's a hall or mirrors effect. Have you created your own skybox and deleted the bottom polygon? I'm willing to be that's the culprit. How do you fix it? Two things: 1. add a polygon to your skybox and reexport, or 2. don't goto the edge of the map ;)

The skybox isn't showing (unless it's all black). I had this too, I used the same tutorial, I think it happened with the tagging or grouping, or UVW-mapping, not sure, but I got it fixed after I did the tut again except for the geometry. Like delete UVW-map modifier and apply it again, or the displacement map.
