custom reticules

I just downloaded the Navy Sealz 2.1 mod and I liked it a lot except for the custom reticules. How do you change the custom reticules back the the one's from the original GR. Any advice is welcome.

The only way I know would be to go through and edit all the .gun files, you would have to first change the name (<ReticleTextureName>XXXXX</ReticleTextureName>) to the basic GR reticle names (redicle_ar.rsb, redicle_car.rasb, reticle_si.rsb ect ....) and then you will have to copy the ret size numbers onto them so that those match, these can be found on any .gun file in the Orgmiss file of the right type (rifle, pistol, sniper ect.....)

I seem to mabey remember an .exe that you could select to change the rets, but I may be making things up or thinking of a differant mod - don't know, dosen't hurt to check.

Right, you need to edit the .gun files found in equip folder of the Navy SEALs mod.

You need to edit this part of the file:

<ReticuleTextureName>XXXXX.rsb</ReticuleTextureName>

<ReticulePipLeft>xx</ReticulePipLeft>

<ReticulePipTop>x</ReticulePipTop>

<ReticulePipRight>x</ReticulePipRight>

<ReticulePipBottom>x</ReticulePipBottom>

<ReticuleBaseLeft>x</ReticuleBaseLeft>

<ReticuleBaseTop>x</ReticuleBaseTop>

<ReticuleBaseRight>xx</ReticuleBaseRight>

<ReticuleBaseBottom>xx</ReticuleBaseBottom>

<ReticulePipBaseOffset>x</ReticulePipBaseOffset>

<ReticulePipMaxOffset>xxx</ReticulePipMaxOffset>

Go and find the equip folder in Origmiss and copy the above lines form, say the M16 and then paste into all the gun files that you want to have the default ret. (Like the one in the banner up there)

Go back to the Origmiss/Equip folder and locate the M249 file and do the same for all the guns that you want to have the ret the M249 has
