SCO Spyder 0
Hey, with some of ya'lls help, i have finially gotten to the very end of the tutorial... where u get your character into the game. Its not working, and i think this is why, i dont understand what he means by this : "When making your mission, you will notice in the Mission Properties it has a box at the bottom of the window. Type in "m_unlocked_heroes.xml" and if you did it right. He/She will work." If anyone knows and can help me out, i'd greatly appreciate it so i can move on and start doing my own thing. Thx
Matt03 0
If you just want your specialist to get in the game change his atr. file name to one of the original specialist and when your mod is active he will overide the original specialist. The xml.file is used to create a new specialist list and for that to work you would have to either create new missions or change the old ones to the new xml.file I beleive. But just try and overide an old specialist and see what happens.

If thats true, how would i put my name on a character and use it without doing anything to missions???
Cush1 0
Spyder, When your creating your own specialist for the game: 1. Make a copy of the specialist in your own mod. 2. To edit the ATR file open it in Notepad. 3. The file name must remain that of an original specialist (the game engine will only recognize those names). 4. In the ATR you can change the name of the character to anything. Then simply activate your mod. If after doing this if your new character is not in the game then you have some different problem. This could possibly be a misspelled word, a mismatched file, a missing file or texture. I hope this helps. If not let me know. -Cush1
