Atleast this is directly linked to SWEBAT, a quick little work in progress shot of the PBV302 APC that I'm working on.

around 1600 polygons currently.

For anyone that knows this vehicle well, I do know that the hatches are incorrect but that's next on the agenda.

I thought I'd update my progress on the Hkp11, AKA the Agusta-Bell 412:

the textured interior (above) and a model render (below)

I've still got to figure out how to makea custom texture for this puppy and then get it exported into GR. Snow makes it all look so easy....

Can't really give an ETA yet as there is still to much things to do and for the most part to little time to do them in. :wall: With any luck we'll get this out before GR2 comes along <_<

Just alittle update on the PBV302 model.

It is indeed an older design and it's slowly being phased out in favour of the CV9040. Apart from the CV9040 this one has proven its worth during fire and have had use of its main armament in real confrontations, it's even proven to be a pretty safe APC to sit in when it gets hit. During the early 90's 2 PBV302's in service with the swedish peacekeeping force in Bosnia took direct hits from a Sagger antitank missile without any serious injuries to the crew, although quite shook up and with both PBV's turned into scrapmetal the crews could return fire within minutes of being hit.

It's also the vehicle of choice for Sweden's urban combat units with a few things making it superior to even the CV9040 carriers, mainly the fact that the gun turret is mounted far to the front and side making it possible to engage targets on sidestreets without having to display much of a target. It's also a pretty small APC and can negotiate narrow roads easily.

Here's some renders hot of the presses of SWEBAT's latest weapon, the Pskott m/86 (AT4 or M136 in US designation).

As it proved to be impossible to piece together the original pictures I had into a texture this one has been handpainted from scratch. :rocky: First weapon I've made where there isn't a trace of photos in the texture.

Thanks guys. :D

There will probably not be a version with optical scope as Sweden currently doesn't field any AT4's with scope, not really needed as the precition of the AT4 itself isn't that great. Max firing range is said to be 400 meters but I wouldn't want to try that! 200 to 250 is what I'd recommend from own experience.

One of our specialists will get something alittle more high tech though, Bofors new MBT LAW antitank weapon.

And on another note...was playing around with 3DSM here for alittle while doing some renders and here's the result.
