EricJ
Yeah, I'll go with Thumper's too. Hopefully when I find a way to transport some downloaded stuff, I'll try this one.
SnowFella
Lets see if we can create a new favourite here Lets start on our list of specialists, starting with our Sniper here seen with his camoed PSG90 (AI AW) rifle. He can chose either this or the AG90 Antimaterial rifle (Barett M82A1) (Click for ingame shot) Next in the line is a snipers best friend, his spotter buddy here seen packing his Ak5B with GL. (Click for ingame shot) And last for today is our SSG operator, packing his Ak5D RAS. SSG being Sweden's only true special forces with operational experience, they have surfaced in both Ghany and Kongo lately. (Click for ingame shot) Tomorrow it will be time for 2 of our international specialists (KSK and SAS) along with a Swedish NI (SWAT) policeofficer. t3K|Murmel2
Tomorrow it will be time for 2 of our international specialists (KSK and SAS) along with a Swedish NI (SWAT) policeofficer. Snow that sounds amazing. great work on the chr`s. this mod has become one of my "must haves".
Suicide Commando
I love that spotter chr. The SSG operator is sweet too, as is his AK5D RAS.
SnowFella
I'd say most of the credit for the characters has to go to Tollen that created some kick###### skins for them, all I did was adapt the chr's to skins he sent me. And time for our 3 urban combat specialists, starting with KSK. Here seen packing his H&K G36K with AG36 GL, can also chose G36K SD, G36C and G36C SD...backup in the form of H&K USP Tactical. (click for ingame screenie) Helmet with visor is an attachment and nade this poor little operator it goes flying, had mucho fun doing that during testing And here's our SAS operator with his trusty old H&K MP5SD6, depending on the situation he can also pick either a standard MP5A5 or a Diemaco C8 (ofcource with optional M203 or suppressor) (click for ingame screenie) First ingame screenie of him with his SF10 gasmask and helmet, not even the rest of the swebat team has seen him with it on as I exported it yesterday Made as an attachment just like the KSK's helmet. And last on the list of our dedicated urban ops members is a swedish NI policeofficer, NI being sweden's national SWAT outfit. He's got a whole heap of different arms at his disposal, here seen with a H&K 53 and Winchester 1300 shotgun but he's also got an MP5A5, CGA5P1 and P2 at his disposal. (click for ingame screenie)
Suicide Commando
Man those are awesome. I love the SAS chr and I'd absolutely kill to have that HK53. Such a tease....
SnowFella
Here's a little break from the characters, a more or less completely textured Hkp9 model. It's complete in the sence that I'm happy with its look in 3dsm but I've yet to see how it looks ingame, might still need some minor tweaking due to GR's lighting system. There's acctually 2 renders of this, one 99% completed texture before application of shadows and volumelight and one 100% complete texture with shadows and evened out lighting. All shadows and lighting rendered out straight to texture within 3dsm (click picture for non lit model to see the difference) Snow

SnowFella
Thanks guys Comments like that is what makes the effort worth it ! @Deleyt: Yup...the purchase of that cloning machine really came in handy...just pop one bird in in one end and it pops another identical bird out the other end @Slink: We haven't really finalised what characters that will be our MP characters yet but I somehow doubt this guy will end up on the roster. You never know though Snow

SnowFella
Slightly unrelated from the SWEBAT mod but in a way still related to SWEBAT, was during my time with the peacekeeping forces that I originally got this...just been re-coloured today to fix up some really faded colour. Looks alittle lopsided I know but that's a result of the swelling asociated with having a fairly thick needle punch a couple of thousand 2 to 3mm deep holes in the skin Snow
Suicide Commando
Hehe, nice tat. Guess all the Aussies have no problems with guessing where you're from.
SnowFella
They better not! Although the thoughts about tat No2 is becoming more and more frequent of late...don't know if it would be such a hot idea though considdering the motive I'm thinking of, my old beret on the left shoulder. Problem is that it is pretty much a sandcoloured one and that's SAS colours.
Lancer
Have 'RIGHT' as a tat on your other arm! Should stop some of the confusion in your life
SnowFella
First you make me fall for the old "spelling misstake" gag and now you pick on a simple little problem with left and right Guess that comes from a reason though...ppl in this confused country (and some other equally confused countries ) tend to drive on the wrong bloody side if the road....hence why my poor old brain sometimes mix those things up. You wouldn't believe how many fun conversations I've had with the wife about this. Wife: We drive on the right side here remember. Me: No dear you don't drive on the right side...its the left Wife: yes...and that's the right side. Me: nope...left After doing that 4 or 5 times I ususally get soundly thumped!
