deleyt 0
Has anybody done any research about what exactly the dimensions are for a soldier? With this I mean questions like: What the vertical distance (perpendicular): 1) from the players viewpoint (eyes) to the ground, in all stances ( upright, kneeling, prone). 2) of the top of his head to the ground, in all stances (upright, kneeling, prone) 3) the height of a usable stationary object (like a machinegun or a grenadelauncher) so ti looks right when the player is using it. LetsReason 0
Hmmm...shouldn't you figure that out for yourself? I mean, I can't share information like that when you can learn for yourself and be the better for it. I want to help you learn and the rewards will be yours. Besides, I don't know that information. But that seems to be the best answer for what to expect from some around here. Robert "

San 0
deleyt, are you going to make a new character ? Maybe there's something in the level-builder.pdf on the DS/IT cd's. I read there that an actor has a diameter of 80cm. There are also models of the characters you can view in max, maybe that way you see the dimensions (but only for upright position, I think). deleyt 0
I'm not gonna model a character (yet)..but I need it for the map I'm working on right now. In order to make sure a guy is protected by a wall or a window (or not) I need to know these dimensions...that way I can give the map a much higher strategic value. There need to be "partial safe-spots" on a map and for that the dimension is needed. I know there's a guy in the IT cd but he's upright...and that is the only dimension I have right now. Does anybody have some more info on this?

San 0
If you look in an ATR-file you'll see <Scale> </Scale>. With that you can make him smaller/bigger.
