Aussie_Terry Posted July 18, 2003 Share Posted July 18, 2003 ok here's what happened, we were playing hamburger hill on PoW map from orig Ghost Recon, map 11 i think, my team starts in compound where the hospital is, i immediately head to the section where the smoke is, but as i do this i moved along the right wall from teh door and went prone so i could look peer (spell?) around the wall and cover the smoke, anyway........... ...as i went prone i accidently went into the wall and could see infront, i tryed to move back to get into the right position that i wanted to get into and this ###### guy kills me straight away from me own team, he could've just told me that i was glitching even though i didn't mean too and was moving away but instead he killed me straight away he says i was glitching and ######, even though i kept telling him what i was trying to do. i gotta tell ya one thing i hate is when i get team killed and teh person doesn't say sorry espicially when i say "######!!" to them, so i went and killed him as i do to any person that purposely team kill's me, so we went on a team killing shoot out with each other and eventually i won, but god it was his own fault and don't tell me that i was immature to shoot back, because its just a game and im not gonna let someone wreck MY fun whilst playing the GAME. yeah someone's probably gonna say "but you made a topic about how much fun TKing is" welp this is different that one was about me and my good friend who i play alone with having some fun together this was some stranger who i didn't even know. p.s. i've been purposely team killed once before, this guy just entered a room i was in on Polling Center and shot me, didn't say sorry just said "i give paybacks" so i went and killed him and he killed me and won the battle between us, but i got him back reallllllllllll good when he was on my team next, he was laying prone waiting for the enemies and i emptied a whole clip on him, but hte best part was..............i exited the game straight after doing it, you say to yourself how is that good? well he means he can't get me back so he's gonna feel empty and become real ###### off, i messed with him mentally. p.p.s. just so you know im not A REAL TEAM KILLER i just kill team killer's that kill me on purpose, im not putting up with their shiit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your #1 priority should be to make a name for yourself as a cool, level-headed player that can take a joke and is relaxed and laid back. EXACTLY because it's a game you should not take it personally and you should not react to these accidents in a violent or vengeful manner. When I played in the past (a loooooong time ago, I confess) I had no real issues with getting team killed (on purpose or not). I am very forgiving of accidents. It happens. If it's done on purpose you can always report this person to the other team mates and since voluntary team killers do this kind of garbage on a regular basis you can be sure that they probably are already known for their immaturity and they have a "reputation". They will get booted from the server, with all probability. Do not take it personally and avoid stepping down to their level. Yes it's just a game ... I would never seek revenge for a TK and if the guys being a jerk I'd leave the game or try and have him kicked! WhiteKnight77 Posted July 18, 2003 Share Posted July 18, 2003 As a rule, don't team kill, it will give you a bad name really. I have only done a TK or 2 on purpose, but the desired effect did happen. If you ask me, of all the players here, the most improved player since he joined this forum, is Sartilles. He was a run and gun type of player that would mess up plans. After I capped him a few times after warning him I would and he did what he was warned not to, he finally settled down and now plays with some smarts. Don't stoop to someone else's level. Rise above the BS and be the better person and just whistle when the jerk starts a TKing spree on you or anyone else. dekela Posted July 20, 2003 Share Posted July 20, 2003 like everyone has said, don't waste the rounds on tk's. i have tk'd and have been tk'd, normally with a fast sry after it. the fact is it happens, and as long as people know you as a fair player the other guy will most likely get booted. i had one recently where i gimped a team mate accidently as he came up behind me so he killed me. i can handle that. after the game when he was complaining about it the other guys stuck up for me 'cause i've played there a bit and never tk on purpose.
