Problems D/Loading mods from gr.net

Recommended Posts

After being away on some essential R & R from GR with RVS, I ahve returned to D/Load some mods. For some reason I get an error message when trying to access the fileplanet links in the D/LOAD section. It reads java script_open snippet (gr/desctable_gr.asp). error on page.

Anyone?..............Bueller?............anyone??............. :stupid:

Failing that, DL Opera, if only for the sole purpose of getting to File Planet. There are alot of people having trouble at File Planet as of late, and there are also 4 or 5 threads on it here in our forums.

It's an IE issue. Something with Java, and the Javasoft update hasnt helped, at least not for me. There are one or two other sites that require Java that dont work as well, such as DSLReports Speed test page.

There are 3 or 4 other threads in here on this File Planet issue also.

I too have been a member for years. Really frosted me when I couldnt get a response from them.

why dont ya go to the sunmicro website and DL the java runtime engine? See if that work?

Don't get confused guys. You do not need Java to use the downloads here, and get downloads from FP. Java and Javascript are two totally different things.

Java is a programming language, Javascript is a scripting language. There are no java applets here or at Fileplanet.
