Rebar 0
What are these .qob files that are referenced in the .atr files? Is there a way to convert .rsb to .qob files?
EricJ 0
.qob is a file extension RSE uses for the 3d models (as well as .pob). The ".rsb" is a file format, like .bmp, or .jpg
Rebar 0
Can .rsb files be converted into .qob files? Is there a utility that can do this if so?
EricJ 0
No, since .rsb is a texture, not a 3D model.....
Ruin 17
The only way QOBs are used for models is PHYSICAL 3D attachments tot he model. RSB files are the 2D TEXTURES for each model in the game.
Rebar 0
So, is there any way to make these files with paint shop pro? Is there a plugin? Or am I out of luck?
EricJ 0
They say that you can use the plugin on the Desert Siege or Island Thunder (recommended) for .rsb textures. Or if you got a buddy with Adobe Photoshop (I stress this since it costs $600 or so dollars) you can use it with that.
Ruin 17
You can use the plugin from the Island Thunder CD to make RSB files. You NEED 3D Studios MAx v3.1 or higher to make qob files. Check the Skinning FAQ pinned at the top of this forum.
